solastalgia

solastalgia — a term describing the grief and distress caused by environmental change — captures the feeling of losing a familiar world while still being part of it. It is the unease of watching landscapes, places, and ecosystems transform; a form of eco-anxiety rooted not only in fear of the future, but in the mourning of what is quietly disappearing in the present.

This show explores ambient, field recordings, and experimental sound as a way of reflecting on environmental transformation, emotional displacement, and the fragile tension between presence and loss.

Each episode is a sonic meditation on changing landscapes, memory, and our evolving relationship with the places we inhabit.
