Musique pour bandes Magnétiques (à Malcolm Morley) is a two-part piece of music composed by Marc Baron in 2018 for the GRM in the studios of La Maison de la Radio in Paris.
“The first part is made of over-amplification of the machine's activities used for the composition,” Marc elaborates. “The second one is a free sonic evocation of the Malcolm Morley's painting, who a strange and touching coincidence, died the day the piece was performed.”
